Sustainable Campus Life

For a sustainable campus life, members of Boğaziçi University will develop environmental awareness and integrate sustainability initiatives into their daily campus activities and academic programs.

With the participation of both university staff and students, the aim is to prevent environmental pollution and improve the management of energy and natural resources. Efforts will focus on reducing emissions and waste generation, while promoting recycling and reuse practices in line with the concept of sustainable campus living. Within this scope, preserving the historical, cultural, and green identity of Boğaziçi University is among the primary objectives.

As a result of these initiatives, it is intended that Boğaziçi University will be recognized on national and international platforms as a “model sustainable university campus,” distinguished by its environmentally and socially responsible education and research practices.
